Turkey BLT Club with Avocado Aioli
This low carb, ketogenic version of a Turkey BLT Club sandwich will have you feeling satisfied without missing the bread. The avocado aioli brings out the flavor of the turkey and bacon with tons of flavor.
I get it, sometimes you just need something that is quick or able to be taken with you as you leave home. This meets both requests. A dash of lime juice in the aioli keeps it fresh until you’re ready to dive in.
A small tip if you’re taking this for a meal break, wrap in parchment or foil to keep it from sliding around, OR take the items separately and assemble before eating. If you’ve ever had an “unwich” from Jimmy Johns, you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Avocado Aioli
Turkey and avocado pair well together, the mayonnaise in this aioli enhances the avocado flavor perfectly.
- Half an Avocado, medium.
- 1-2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise (Preferably homemade or a keto-friendly brand like Primal Kitchen Avocado May)
- Salt and Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- A drop of lime juice if taking this on-the-go
- In a small bowl, add avocado, mayonnaise, and garlic powder.
- Smash and blend ingredients until avocado is fully incorporated with the mayonnaise.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Optional – Add lime juice
Super simple and ready to enhance your sandwich or try it on a burger or chicken.
Bacon
Part of my weekly meal prep is pre-cooking bacon for the week. This is probably due to the amount of clothing I’ve ruined cooking bacon. Being able to cook it all at once means only one mess to clean up.
Just remember that the bacon you source should be a priority. Our local meat processor can prepare without the sugar/dextrose upon request and I don’t notice a difference. No need to waste those precious carb grams.
Lettuce
Any leaf lettuce will work for this recipe. Romaine is typically a better variety to find in the grocery options of rural Wisconsin. You want lettuce that is strong enough to hold your sandwich toppings.
Assembling
Cut any hard pieces from your lettuce to allow them to lay flat.
Lay the pieces end to end, allowing to overlap in the center.
Add a layer of turkey, then spread with your avocado aioli. It’s easier to spread the aioli on your smooth, turkey slices as the lettuce will force it to clump.
Next, layer your bacon and tomato on top. You can also add a little sliced onion.
With the first layer complete, add another layer of lettuce and repeat with the next layer. Top with your last two slices of lettuce. Cut in half and enjoy!

Notes
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Faith is designed as the substance of things hoped for. Faith is not limited to positive things hoped, faith goes both ways. If I live and hope in expectation for good things to happen, that is what I will see. Make the decision to see yourself as God sees you.
